Chapter 9
1 year later
It’s been a year since the three of us had met unexpectedly on earth. The curse had been lifted and people can easily move from one planet to the other. Each one of us found one true love in our alien. We make it a point to meet every weekend at a different destination.
All of us told or close family members about the decision and the details. Nicole was alone and didn’t have any family. Selena too had just her mom and she knows about us and is happy that we found our true love, even if it is in outer space.
My parents weren’t very upbeat about my decision but they have accepted it because they knew I wouldn’t change my mind. W often travel to earth together just to feel the same good old days. We mostly crash at Selena’s backyard because that is where the whole journey started.
We can remember the times when we were young and little and how we used to think of the aliens up in the sky. At that time, none of us knew that this would one day be a reality.
“Maggie, did you ever think we would all be here in the same backyard, looking at the same stars but actually living our dream?” Selena asked.
“Seriously, who would have thought that little children with such big dreams in their eyes will get to live them one day,” Nicole chipped in.
I was lying between the two of them and hugged them and said, “This is why we should never let go of our dreams. I am sorry for being so away for so long. You were the ones who really meant the world to me. With you by my side and of course my man, I feel complete. I am glad that we are the chosen ones who have been gifted to experience such an amazing life.”
We spoke for hours at end and no matter how many times we met; we always had new stories to add. We were one of those people who were destined to be together. Even the stars were happy that we were all together. We all spoke about our own planets and our men.
The good thing about our life was that Rauf, Gerard, and Dix had all bonded as great friends too. This made of us made a great team and we couldn’t wait to see how the rest of our life would turn out to be.
It was one of those Saturday evenings when we were simply resting in the backyard when the three men appeared at Serena’s place. Each one of them looked smoking hot and handsome and they bowed down together and looked at us and then smiled.
“Would you like to accept our proposal and accept me as your loving husband for the rest of your life? There is no one I would rather be with and I would like you to marry me. Do you agree?”
We couldn’t believe that this was happening. Who
